Prince Marketing Group Licensing Deal on Behalf of Joe Frazier
Prince Marketing Group negotiated a licensing deal with No Mas for them to add the Joe Frazier collection to its line of global icons that currently includes Muhammad Ali and Pele. Looks for t-shirts and robes to be out in 2013 licensed by The Estate of Joe Frazier. No Mas makes apparel, art and media, dedicated to “The Thrill of Victory and the Ecstasy of Defeat” and is known for exploring sports secret histories in both its products and original content. The sport culture focused brand is carried at independent and major stores internationally including Bloomingdaleʼs, Fred Segal, Collete in Paris, and on the No Mas website at www.nomas-nyc.com. Recent video projects include producing the animated short "Dock Ellis & the LSD No-No", which won a jury-prize at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and contributing animation to "Straight Outta LA", part of the Peabody Award winning ESPN 30 for 30 documentary series.

Prince Marketing Group Appointed Licensing Agent by Estate of Smokin Joe Frazier

Estate representatives of the late Smokin’ Joe Frazier have appointed Prince Marketing Group, who has served as the agent for Olympic and Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion Smokin’ Joe Frazier since 1994, to take care of the legend’s legacy. Frazier was diagnosed with liver cancer in late September 2011 and admitted to hospice care, passing away on November 7, 2011. Daughters of the late Smokin’ Joe, Renae Martin and Weata Colins, were named trustees of his estate and have called on officials at Prince Marketing Group to take over exclusive licensing responsibilities linked to their father. The firm will manage all areas of licensing and merchandising of the Champion’s name and likeness. Prince Marketing Group will also oversee the preservation and archiving of Frazier memorabilia, as well as life story rights in preparation for future exploitation and film participation interests. Joe Frazier's Tomb/Monument Unveiled

Philly Mayor Wants Joe Frazier Statue
The mayor of Philadelphia kicked off a campaign Wednesday to raise money for a statue of hometown boxing great Joe Frazier, a tribute he called "long overdue. "Joined by members of Frazier's family, Mayor Michael Nutter praised the onetime heavyweight champion as a fearless, determined fighter and "a good human being" who gave back to the community. Joe Frazier fought as a Philadelphian, and now it's our turn to fight for Joe's memory by erecting a statue that captures his indomitable spirit," Nutter said. The $150,000 fundraising goal includes money for maintenance of the memorial.
