Smokin' Joe helps raise $110,000 for Turning Point Rehab Center 35th anniversary gala
Turning Point - Compassionate Treatment For Alcoholism and Drug Dependency
October 12, 2010
Dear Joe:
There has never been a Turning Point Gala like the one we enjoyed last Thursday evening. You deserve a huge amount of credit for creating the "excitement factor" that will keep the evening crisp in our memories for years to come. We had a full house at the Crystal Plaza and brought in nearly $110,000 to help support our treatment programs.
The consensus among attendees is that your rockin' delivery of "Mustang Sally" was the highlight of the night! We deeply appreciate your willingness to sign autographs, pose for photos with our guests and stay for virtually the entire event. This Gala was a fabulous and successful celebration of how far Turning Point has come in 35 years. We owe so much of this success to your gracious, fun-loving and remarkable generosity of spirit.
We dedicated page 2 of our "Home at Last!" Gala Journal to welcoming you and wishing you well on your work with the Smokin' Joe Frazier Foundation (see enclosed copy). I'd like to express that wish for you again and say that, thanks to friends such as you, we can look forward to a future for Turning Point that is stronger than ever.
Warmest regards,
Manuel Guantez, Psy. D" LCADC
